| My Chickens Leghorns: This and next year I will be expanding my number of leghorn colours. In the '09 season I will only have Black, Exchequer and Brown Leghorns(both single and rosecombed) to offer. 2010 I will hopefully have Black, Blue, Exchequer, Red Pyle, Red, Silver and Brown Available. Ameraucanas: I have Blue/Black/Splash Large Fowl Ameraucanas and am working on the side on Birchens in both black and blue. All my breeders have slate coloured legs, have beards/muffs and the hens lay blue/turquoise/mint eggs. Currently trying to expand my flock so very few birds may be available this fall. Malay Gamefowl Malays are large oriental Game chickens, reaching between 10-13lbs adult weight and a height up to 3 feet. They are very very friendly and personable chickens with people and easy to handle in most cases. I absolutely adore my Malays, they are such unique birds with such great personalities. They are quite game though and 2 roosters should never be kept together, an established group of hens also can get quite aggressive towards a newcomer. |
