| My Chickens I currently raise/offer 2 pure breeds of chicken, hopefully I can increase this number by 6 or 7 more varieties next year. Click on the picture to enlarge it. NEW!!!! Exchequer Leghorns: I expanded my breed selection with this beautiful variety of Leghorn. I currently only have a pair for breeding but I hope to import some more stock and colours from the US this Spring. Availability of these birds will be limited for 2008. I will also offer ExchequerXbrown leghorns in the fall. Update: Have received 2 more pairs of Exchequers(unrelated to my original pair), 2 pairs of Reds and 1 rooster and 3 hens of Rosecombed browns. All from US Bloodlines. Not of Show quality in my eyes but will work with them and hopefully improve the lines. Am hoping I can make all these varieties available in limited quantities in 2009. Ameraucanas: I raise Standard Birchen and Silver Blue Ameraucanas(not Easter eggers). My birds also throw the occasional pure Black or Blue bird. All my breeders have slate coloured legs, have beards/muffs and the hens lay blue/turquoise eggs. Currently trying to expand my flock so very few birds may be available this fall. !Breeds 2009!
